The office of Secretary is key to the smooth running of ISCA . It is essential that board meetings are arranged, managed & minuted effectively, transparently and to a high standard. The secretary role is important, involving regular interaction and collaboration with the President, Directors, Members and volunteers.

Role Requirements

  • Minute-taking, report-writing or equivalent
  • Using collaborative tools (drive,
  • Writing minutes of meetings
  • Scheduling and organising meetings
  • Holding meetings on Zoom
  • Working in a remote team
    setting

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling Board meetings
  • Producing agendas in advance of Board meetings
  • Attending Board meetings fortnightly or monthly throughout the year
  • Producing minutes promptly after Board meetings
  • Preparing Reports
  • Filing Documents
  • Managing centralised document repository (Google Drive/Sharepoint)
  • Developing administrative systems for the organisation
  • Organising the AGM
    Handling incoming enquiries
  • Issuing official correspondence on behalf of the organisation
  • Other tasks commensurate with the role
