The International Social Capital Association is pleased to release our Webinar Series Impact Report 2021–2026, providing the first comprehensive evaluation of the impact and reach of our international webinar program.
Since launching in 2021, the ISCA Webinar Series has grown into a global platform for learning, dialogue, and collaboration, bringing together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, students, and community leaders interested in social capital.
Over the past five years, the series has hosted:
- 212 webinars
- 22,550 registrations
- Participants from more than 160 countries
- Presentations from internationally recognised scholars, practitioners, and policy leaders
The report draws on participant feedback and program data to explore how the webinar series has contributed to the global social capital community. It demonstrates that the series has become much more than a collection of online presentations—it has created an international forum where ideas are exchanged, collaborations emerge, and research and practice come together.
What you’ll find in the report
The report explores:
- Why the webinar series was established and how it has evolved
- The growth and global reach of the program
- Who participates and what they value most
- Learning and professional outcomes for participants
- How the series is helping strengthen the field of social capital
- Stories of impact from participants around the world
- Opportunities for future development and international collaboration
- How organisations and institutions can partner with ISCA to expand the series’ impact
The findings show consistently high levels of participant satisfaction, with respondents highlighting the quality of speakers, the diversity of perspectives, the international community, and the opportunities for learning and discussion. Participants also identified exciting opportunities for future growth, including more interactive workshops, thematic learning series, expanded global participation, and stronger collaboration between research and practice.
As global interest in trust, social cohesion, community resilience, and social connection continues to grow, the report highlights the important role that accessible international learning platforms can play in advancing both research and practice.
We extend our sincere thanks to every speaker, participant, volunteer, member, and supporter who has contributed to the success of the webinar series over the past five years. This report celebrates what has been achieved together while looking ahead to the next stage of growth.
